CALLING ALL FANS OF THE PLAGUE --

And that's not the Black Plague! It's the Tholomew Plague -- otherwise known as The Rev, the extremely talented drummer for the band Avenged Sevenfold.


About the Rev

:bulletgreen: The Rev, or Jimmy Sullivan, is the drummer for Avenged Sevenfold (A7X), which was formed in 1999. He and Synyster Gates (lead guitar for A7X) joined with the former bassist of A7X, Justin Sane, and two members from the band Ballistico to form Pinkly Smooth, in which the Rev is the lead singer, and is credited for piano and some drums. He also was formerly in the band Suburban Legends. He also provided vocal back-up in the song "Lips of Deceit" off the album Sounding of the Seventh Trumpet and screamed with Shadows on the song "Eternal Rest" off Waking the Fallen. Rev has also recorded melodic vocals and wrote bits for the songs "Critical Acclaim" and "Crossroads", and wrote the songs "A Little Piece of Heaven", "Almost Easy", "Brompton Cocktail", and "Afterlife". He also has vocals in all of those songs and most of the others on the new self-titled album (including "Scream" and "Lost"). Many webisodes have been released revealing his true genius as a drummer, writer, vocalist, and composer.

- OK so ... I've been really busy with school and I apologize. :[ I go to art school and I'm an animation major, so it gets work intensive. But I've updated the members list, and bought a sub for this thing to help de-clog the journal. C:

- The boys have been playing A Little Piece of Heaven LIVE, and it's amazing! If you haven't seen them on tour, be sure to YouTube the song and check it out!

- Not much has really been going on, they're on tour and stuff. They've released the Making of Afterlife and they're making a live DVD from the Long Beach, CA show (tomorrow, lol), where I believe they're also shooting the video for Dear God, their next to-be-single (why couldn't it have been Gunslinger? Seriously).

- That's about it! Sorry for the deadness, I'll do my best to keep up with everyone. :heart:
